Power window and door lock install

Been a while since I did this but in order to drill the hole through the cab the door needed to be off. Also in order to drill the hole where the wiring goes into the door it requires the door to be removed. There were dimples on the cab and the door to locate where the holes needed drilled.

    Bed cover build with/power lock

I ended up pulling it off, I had the truck repainted and the black rhino liner didn’t mesh. As far as sitting on it with chairs it’d definitely hold up to that. The family has stood on it with no issues. It still looks the same as when I built it.

    What oils do I need

5w 30 for the engine oil should be correct. It's usually written on the oil filler cap. I usually get 5 qts. Dextron transmission fluid should be correct for the transmission, not sure the quantity, the type of fluid used is sometimes stamped on the dipstick. As far as antifreeze I use the...

a little help here..trying to get my pwr locks working

Been a while since I swapped my manual locks to power but I believe there is a relay for the power locks that is hidden under the dash near the center. Also check the fuse. I have in the past had a bad switch also.

And thanks scott and Caesar. I love my shop couch and love seat from the suburban seats. I need to steal the buckets (love seat) and get some perches and mount them in my truck. I set them in there one time and they looked sweet but I didn't have the perches to bolt them down right.

Sounds like you and me think a lot alike. I have a tv on the side not pictured with satellite. It's a little 32 inch, wish it were bigger. I spend a lot of time out in the shop so I figure make it comfortable. It's only 15 ft from my house but I still wish it had a ******* in it. The septic...

Ha, I definitely get it dirty. I only took the pic because I cleaned it. I Had the engine and transmissions out of a suburban and my r10 in there at the same time. I build wood projects in it all the time too. I use the sawdust that I sweep up from the wood as oil absorb. The painted floor...

    Show Us Your Man Cave

Thought I'd bump an old threads. Here's a panoramic view of my shop interior. It's 30ft by 30ft. It was framed up to match my house but was just open studs when we bought the place. The previous owner was actually using it as a horse barn. I insulated it, built a workbench and storage...

    Ideas for dome light?

No problem jerry, I did it the easy (lazy) way by screwing it up like that but it holds up well. Doing it like this also helps hold up the headliner too which is a plus. If you decide to put it up like this it doesn't take much time at all.

    Ideas for dome light?

Here's the best pic I could get, has tons of glare but these suckers are bright. They are obviously blue. The map lights I purchased not realizing they were multi-color lol. They change about every 10 seconds and there are seven different colors. My kids think it's cool though, looks like a...
