Eh, well, i ended up doing a low pressure reverse bleed on the clutch system with my motive pressure bleeder attached to the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder. This is a shot in the dark... I've been hassling over the clutch in my 87 R30. The bleeding is not going well. So, i'm out today to replace a couple of items. I need to pick up a new bleeder for the slave cylinder. Anyone happen to know the standard size required? I left the damn thing on...- HDBobbers

I had two late model F150 Flaresides (1998 / 1999) before this R30. Head gaskets went on both within the span of a year of owning each of them. One of them shot a rod. I don't have any love or hate for this truck. It's simply my work-horse to haul wood, go to the dump, or haul anything else i can think of. I'd love to get another to use as a toy, but between my truck, my car, and my Harley, I don't have alot of room.- HDBobbers

And Sunday it fired. Just need to button up a few things and it'll be complete. The rest of the fluids for one, and i need to figure out what the bolt size is for the distributor clamp to the intake manifold... i seem to have lost that bolt in the process.- HDBobbers

Anyone got Stacks?!?
Looks good, 87silveradk20. I like the look of stacks regardless of what is running. I'm considering them for my new build as I haven't found anything i'm happy with with relation to my flatbed. -

I'm no rookie to bending line, and I have a flaring tool. I just don't think i have a 3/8 die, heh. It's like my 10mm box... I had it when i bought it, but it disappeared, never to be seen again.- HDBobbers

You're talking like a 3/8" steel line, yah? I hadn't even considered that. Might be a good idea now that you mention it. Do you run it in the same way that you run a brake line... double flared with brass fittings?- HDBobbers

Unfortunately, i don't have my vin in front of me, but i can tell you that the truck was carbureted when i purchased it. As for emissions, my truck is exempt in my state. 87 R30 - Weak Rear Brakes
So, an update. GM p/n 18060010 / 5469384 looks to be for a pancake vacuum diaphragm booster. I should have mentioned, or dug a bit deeper, that this is a hydroboost application. I'd be looking at item 29 (pn 00377397 / 129959). 18060010 / 5469384 looks to be about an inch too short for the... -
