Is a hydroboost swap worth it?

The pedal assembly is slightly different, but yes I would do the swap. It is worth the hassle. Have you not driven the C20? The difference in braking power is significant.

Looking for a heavy-duty receiver hitch

I put a B&W on my R20. Made in the USofA I'm not sure if they still make one to fit a suburban though.

What have you done to your square lately??

Slathered some Penetrol on my 3+3 today while the sun was shining. I've never used it, so I tried it out. Buffing is hard work but this stuff cost $9, laid on with a paint brush, and looks good from 20ft. How it was before:

What have you done to your square lately??

I picked up a CUCV brush guard for my '87. I ground all the old paint off and repainted it with a gloss black enamel.

late '89-92? 10 hole hubcaps wanted

Anyone have a set of these hubcaps for a 3/4 ton 4x4 they are looking to get rid of? I need 16" caps. I'd take either GMC or Chevy, but I'd really prefer the Chevy.

I'm digging the early grille. I always wanted to do the 88-89 glass headlights on my 97 Yukon, but never did. I bet those would look good on that truck.

I haven't had good luck with fords in the past, but I figured with a mazda engine it wouldn't be too bad. I wouldn't dare buy one with a 3.0 or an automatic. Turned out the mazda engine isn't that good. It's still burning oil. I haven't gotten around to removing the intake again and...

And today. I also bought some fog lights and tinted them yellow. Still have to paint the roof rack and wheels, but I might buy some steelies for the wheels. I tried to get a sticker at each park I went to on my trip if it wasn't one of the black and white abbreviation type stickers.

    My '05 Ford Escape

Started working on the car a little after I got back. I wanted a sorta military look to it so I painted it a tan color. Using a satin enamel house paint and a roller... This was about a week ago. Still waiting for it to fully cure to see if it was a genius idea or a royal f-up. :rofl...

    My '05 Ford Escape

I had the tierods replaced in Visalia, CA and by the time I made it to Seattle the front tires were fried. I had to buy new tires and an alignment in Port Orchard, Washington. Got it stuck again in Montana just outside Glacier National Park. This time it was in the dark and I backed into a...

It had about 141,000 miles on it when I started. I ended with about 160,000. :) Got about 27 mpg doing it. Big Bend National Park, Texas I noticed that it was burning oil badly on the highway. About a quart every 100 to 300 miles. I thought it was the PCV valve and hose so I...

I had a '99 Maxima SE 3.0 5 speed manual with leather. Awesome car if it wasn't for the rust and terrible gas mileage (20-22mpg with premium:whymewhyme:) Sold it to some cuban dude and picked up this '05 Escape 2.3 5 speed manual base model for $1800. I had a long 3 month road trip...

3/4 ton suburbans came with what axle ratios?

I am aware of the flat top knuckle/crossover steering and engine crossmember, but thanks. I was inquiring about suburbans because they are easier to find around these parts than a pickup. I was just looking at a '75 k20 for cheap on CL tonight, but I was too late to buy it. That would have...

Twin Traction Beam on a Chevy

TTB used to be considered junk. Not really the same attitude now. A few of 4x4 van guys are using them to get a lower ride height and a better ride over over a solid axle. Plus a TTB can be found cheap or free. The desert racing guys with fords have used them for a long time since...
