Referring to me? It's out of the shop right now, making room for the F250 to be worked on in it's spot. I just drove it last week. Will probably drive it this weekend again if the weather gets better. -

Lizard skin and Dynamat work differently. Normal dynamat works only by mass dampening the panels, like you did with the doors, by lowering the resonant frequency of flat panels. Materials with a lower resonant frequency take more "power" to vibrate and cause noise, therefore it will absorb low... -

I intend to use something like Lizard Skin on the 69 K5 underbody to block heat and sound, since we plan to bedliner the interior. On the 78 I went the cheap route to experiment, I used peel and seal to mass dampen the flat panels, approximately 30% coverage, then layered that with some 1/8"... -

Tore out the interior to install a new vinyl floor and sound deadening, installed bigblock73's 6x9 speaker brackets in the cab corners with a pair of 6x9 JLs I had lying around, sound deadened the floor, firewall, back of the cab and doors. Much more pleasant sound inside along with the Kicker... -
