Yep, the one's on my truck are 33x12.50's that measure just over 31" now. They are wore out but, yes, some manufactures fudge their numbers a bit.- fltplan

Think the 315's are the way to go for me. Aside from different brand characteristics, the 305 and the 285 are both 32.8. I don't want to be smaller than 33, that was why the 295 seemed like a good fit. But, I found this pic on another forum and it's exactly what I'm looking for. 4" lift with...- fltplan

They will be 4.11, right now they r 3.73 I believe. I may go with 4.56 with 315's. Also, I'm at 5000' elevation so I lose a little power there also. I do a lot of slow driving. Occasional trip to the desert but that will be the exception. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- fltplan

I have been able to find the 295's in a few brands, they are a tall/thin looking tire which is what I like. The 305's are actually a 32.8 tire and a bit wider which is similar to the wore out 33's in the pic. I've been leaning towards the 295 until I saw the pic of the 315's. The...- fltplan

Okay, need some advice. Have a 4" spring lift installed. Can't decide on tires. The 295/75/16's are showing a height of 33.4" and the 315/75/16's are 34.6". I have found some pics of a 4" lift and 315's, but not 295's. My truck will be set up as more of an expedition truck, not a rock...- fltplan

How to support the frame during leaf spring change?
I'm changing out leaf springs, ie, installing a lift on my 79' K10. The truck has approx 2.5" of lift right now. In order to support the frame I have used a stack of 2x10x12's about 8 high, then a jack stand on top of this at a pretty low setting. This is on a concrete floor and still isn't...- fltplan
