I took mine out and to my local auto glass shop. That glass is held in by a piece of rubber and I think slightly crimped they charged me $20 to do them both.

I just built one of these beds. You will have to take most of the bolts out of one side. The bed is welded in the back. You will have to remove the seem sealer. Mine came apart fairly easy. It's just a lot of bolts. Has to spread about one inch on one side.

I feel your pain. My dad passed away about 2 years ago. I have the first pickup he ever bought new. I was restoring it when he died. I was hoping to get done with it before he passed but I didn't make it. I think he rides with me now.
