converting help please

check it out this 85 is running right now but how i scored it was the guy sold the engine out of it and is going to give it to me its got a th350 tranny in it i worked in a tranny shop and prefer not to have an auto if i found a sm 465 out of a 4x4 how would i bolt it up

thanks buddy can i use the sm465 and keep my reliable 4 speed or do i have to change it out remiber 2wd now going to 4x4

i have a 1977 chevy 2wd and i live in wyoming and 2wd just dont cut it here so i found a freind that has a 85 gmc originality a diesel but they have a 350 in it now! he sold the engine out of it and is now going to give me that truck it has no title so can i put my cab and engine out of my 77...
