hey guys sorry its been awhile ive been dumping all my money into my truck to fix her haha its been an interesting few months flywheel, new carb, wrecked 14 bolt etc etc, but yeah im still looking up how on the cucv they swapped or changed the vacume modulator- ccmf22

chevy 6.2 caught on fire
the thing is that me and my buddy are both marine corps mechanics 3521 :patriot: he not that stupid and he didn't mess with anything, he had the truck for less than 40 mins and mechanically it looked sound and the test drive went fine, and all they would do is a 52 point inspection at any shop...- ccmf22

were not all to sure he said that the fire initially dripped on his diff and he saw a fire from were the gastank was and diesel if pretty hard to catch fire so im thinking electrical- ccmf22

has anybody done a in truck cam install because i want to put a thumper comp cam in mine and i want to know if anyone has a write up on it or has done it to give me some tips. and to stick the basic thumper cam in i believe you only need stiffer valve springs if i researched correctly, and while...- ccmf22

my buddy went to go buy this 6.2 diesel in rode island (were from nh) and he bought it for 2300 and no joke 40 mins after he bought it was driving on the highway a cop pulls him over and tells him to get the truck off the road its smoking to much well him and the cop both turn around and its on...- ccmf22

okay i was wondering what it would take to swap in a 6.5td into my chevy k20 my drive train is 350-th400-208, from what ive gathered it theoretically is a direct swap in, the only issue is the transmission is a vacuum operated so in theory i would just need an automatic shifter like a b&m, any...- ccmf22
