Okay, so I got the cowl off and found the vacuum door under the cowl. Next issue is that I'm going to need new pins for the back of the metal cowl grill. Anyone know where to get them?- callmewaylon

Yes, my vacuum resevoir is hooked to manifold vacuum and then the small line hooks to it and runs into the cab. Hi, I've got an 82 K25 with AC. Anyone know where this vacuum hose goes when it goes off into the firewall. The one that comes in from the engine is to the left of it and lower. BDS 2.5" lift rides rough
I've got an 82 chevy with 2.5 inch BDS springs and shocks in the front. Blocks and BDS shocks in the back. Lift was installed about 8 years ago. Ticking/Rattle on acceleration
Sounds like you've got some pre ignition "pinging" going on. Probably need to back the timing off some. What's your initial timing? Is your vacuum advance working? Does it happen at lower rpm when the engine is under load or just at mid to higher rpm when under load?- callmewaylon

New Motor - Gold Specs in oil looks metallic and gold specs in filter
Roller tip cast rockers, magnum one pc pushrods, and poly locks. All comp cams stuff. Comp 4x4 cam and lifters x274. 64CC chamber Performer RPM heads and intake. Block is zero decked. Dished pistons for just under 11:1 compression.- callmewaylon

Comp cams lube on the cam/lifters/valvetrain and Lucas oil assembly lube on all the bearings. Oil pump was primed right before initial start up.- callmewaylon
