    Welcome from Central New York!

    Starter shim questions

Heat and use a good quality 6 point socket or a box end wrench. Don't try to do it with the open end of a wrench. If they are rusty, sometimes using a metric socket on a SAE bleeder or vice versa will get you a better tighter fit. Wire-brush the threads off too. this will give the PB blaster...

    New from Missouri

Lol. We all noticed the hubs. Only Scottsdale called you out on it though. It's a good looking truck regardless if it's a C or a K.

The coolest little band saw table you might not have known about. I got one!!

I have one of these that stays plugged in at all times. I have mine working off of a foot pedal switch and I just ziptied the trigger in. Use it all the time, both hands are free all the time. Worth the $$. I drilled and tapped an extra hole in my saw to help bolt in on tighter. Used one of...

    1977 c10 worth one owner 63k miles

I agree. Its worth what you are willing to pay and your location in this Country will have an influence on the price. A rust free, low mileage, truck in the snow/ice/salt covered roads of Central New York (where I live) will be worth a whole lot more to a buyer than the same truck in Central...

Is anyone having any luck buying a vehicle from Craigslist/Facebook Marketplace right now?

As a guy trying to sell a boat and motorcycle on Marketplace right now...... The amount of messages you get daily from people either wanting you to trade for trash, or low ball your already cheap vehicle down to nothing is amazing. Not to mention the people who inquire, but then never respond...

    Stranded… could use some ideas.

I know its completely different, by my GF's motorcycle had similar symptoms. The gas tank wasn't venting properly. It would run fine until a load was put on it or you rode for a while and then stall. Once it stalled it wouldn't restart for a while, or until you opened the gas cap to check to...

    Carlisle Truck Nationals 2021

Thanks for the pictures!!! Makes me real glad I got my truck when I did. Prices just keep going up. Someday I'll make it down for this show. I've only been down there for the spring swap meets.

What have you done to your square lately??

Today I removed all the door and window seals from the front doors and the cab seal on the rear doors. I didn't realize the vent windows were going to be such a project and I didn't have the rivets required for reassembly. Everything is prepped and ready for reassembly once the rivets come in...

What should I include in my emergency tool set?

3/8 Swivel adapter, various sizes of extensions, small wire brush, FLASHLIGHT. And the stuff mentioned by others above.

What have you done to your square lately??

Yeah, I suppose I should have clarified. My square tows the trailer. Hopefully it doesn't ever need to ride the trailer. I use it for anything I need a trailer for. It's for personal use, not anything commercial. I've moved a few cars, picked up a couple tractors, and hauled construction...

What have you done to your square lately??

Not to my Squarebody, but for my Squarebody.... I started cutting out and replacing the cross members on my 7000lb trailer. It started out with me just pulling the decking off and like many projects do, has ballooned a bit. Hoping to get the rest and the welding done today.

What new tools have you got lately?

I recently picked up a few "new" tools First, I picked up a DeWalt jig saw, a few hand planers, and 2 chisels. Total cost $5.00. I bought the jig saw for $5 and they threw in the other stuff for free. Next is a Jancy USA-5 mag drill. For $275. I don't know how I went so long without one...

I bought a Jeep to fit my winch.....

Close, but I think the Jeep's used the earlier 225ci V6. They called it the Jeep Dauntless. It was around from the mid 60's to mid 70's. I believe it has an "odd-fire" firing order and shouldn't be rewired like the mor modern '78 and newer 231 engines.
