AC charging
Most of the gauge sets I have seen that are automotive have both r-12 and r-134a markings on them. I too am running r-12 in my 84 C20. You need to do it right or have someone else do it for you. There is a lot more to a/c work than just shooting in more freon in hopes of making it colder...- Boudin

Source for bucket seat covers
I swapped out my original bench seat for buckets a while back in my 84 C20. The buckets I managed to get looked great (no holes or tears), but I believe that their age caused them to be easily torn. Now I have some upoulstery on these buckets that is a far cry from what they looked like... -

Whats you gas mileage on your squarebody truck?
Well, on my 84 C20 I am getting about 12.5 average. It is the 8600 GVWR model. I have a quadrajet on my LT9 350 and it is hooked up to a TH400 tranny. The rear end ratio is a 3.42.- Boudin

???Sound system for 85 chevy K30????
I know that there have been a lot of suggestions here, but I would like to share what I did with my 84 C20. I kept the original sized head unit cutout and installed a retrosound model one. I had trouble finding some 4x10" speakers for the rear, but crutchfield had some Kicker brand ones...- Boudin

NO fuel!
One thing I did when replacing my entire fuel system (I have the dual tank option) is putting one of those in-line pressure gauges on the fuel line from the pump to the carb. I also did away with the carburetor inlet filter (qjet) and used a two stage inline filter from proform. It should read...- Boudin
