I got the factory ones for my 87 from my local Chevy dealer and I have had no issues at all with them. The GM part# is 365270. Hopefully that will help you.
I'm needing to replace the cab mounts on my 87 R body square and i want it to ride pretty smooth. So i would like to have a few opinions on which would be the best ones....poly or the oe type rubber mounts. All input will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
In my quest to decode the rear diff in my 87 R10 2wd square body I have hit a wall!! The RPO tag has a code of Y03 which shows to be a 7.625 ring gear Saginaw/American axle but I can't find out any other info on what the factory gear ratio would be. I got the casting code off the axle its self...

So I was getting ready to lower my 87 1/2 ton 2wd square body and I ran across a problem. I found out that the frame was cracked at the steering gear. I have had 7 square bodys over the years 2 of which were 4wd and have never had this problem..I knew the frames were prone to crack there but...

I have recently purchased an 87 2wd r10 truck with a 700R4 trans and I was curious as to which gears were in the rear diff so i pulled the cover and did the counting and division thing and what I came up with blew me away....it has a 3.25 gear ratio!!! Is that a common gear or not?? I've seen...
