The harbor freight press isn't worth the trip there even if they gave it to you. The parts store presses are usually pretty heavy duty. If you want to buy one just pay the deposit and keep it.
LMC and other parts suppliers have a VIN decoder so you can find out what your truck left the factory with. Heres one http://www.chuckschevytruckpages.com/81-87VIN.html
Sorry.... That link doesn't have the engine section. Pretty sure the LMC one does...
I could use all the good blue interior plastics, complete rear seat belts and the inside receiver seatbelts on the fronts too. And the plastic pieces on the back of the front passenger seat.
I have airsoft pellets in my Jeep tires. They are 35's and it took about 8 oz. each. Not sure it took that many, but that's how many I used. Its cheap and effective at any speed over about 20 or so. You do get strange looks when you pull up to a light and they fall out of rotation.
I cut the stock mount off the axle and welded ears onto the lower spring plates. The shock bolt nearly touched the plate in the factory layout. I moved the mount forward 2" and down 3" from the factory spot.
