    Thanks for the info.I have access to a 3/4t 4x4 burb but want a pick up.I can get an old 1/2t 4x4 that needs a drivetrain and was just curious which would be easier/better,a body swap or a drivetrain swap. BTW cool build Jrgunn5150.

    Will a 73-87 pickup body(including the box) bolt onto a same year suburban frame? Is the wheelbase the same? Will the body mounts line up?

    I have a 1983 Silverado 1/2t that had a 305 ESC in it before I got it.I put a 406 in it but the voltmeter does not work.Could this be related to the unplugged wiring from the ESC setup?

    Will Rims from a Current 3/4t fit a SquareBody?

    I have seen some 3/4 t 2wd with rims from a 2004 and it definitely looks like the offset is different.What newer factory wheels will fit a squarebody K35? I like the look of some of the newer wheels and would like to know what my options are.

    Best Replacement Chrome 1983 C10

    I'm looking to replace the plastic chrome pieces on my 1983 Silverado.I see it is sold in a roll.Will this look the same as the factory strips? Are there more than one type available.I found the replacement stuff on LMCs website. I'm looking to repaint and bring it back to stock. Thanks

    Well I've been running my stock bracket for about 200kms and I installed the tv cable stud on the inside of the throttle bracket.This allows a more straight pull on the tv cable.The transmission is shifting alot better the more I use it and I suspect the fresh oil has helped free things up in...

    MadOgre,I only saw your post after I posted mine.That makes sense as I was lining up the tv bracket on the upper holes but then it left me with no where to connect the throttle cable.I have seen pictures of the throttle bracket that bolts to the base of the carb/intake but I don't have one of those.
