    i would check the brake light switch by either checking the resistance using a multimeter if you have one or i believe you can jump the plug and see if the lights light up then it is a faulty switch if not it is either in the wiring from the switch to the lights also there should be a round plug...

    Thats what i figured once that is fixed if the pcv is the problem then i will replace the intake gaskets a gain when it is warmer out since i have to do it outside maybe i will even take the hood off that might make it easier since buying a quart of oil a week is killing my wallet

    i will check the pcv valve tomorrow if i have time i wasnt sure if that style gasket kit would work for my engine since it is tbi and not carbuerated dont know if that makes a differnes since they have different intake manifolds other wise i would go that route

    th400 hesitates when cold

    I changed the filter and fluid two years ago and have only put 30,000 miles on since then so there is a possiblity that could be my problem but I don't think it is as the oil is still red in color I think it could be the valve that changes fluid for forward and reverse
