    Which electric fans to get?

    Hey guys, Haven't posted n a while been swamped with work... I was looking into getting some electric fans along with the shroud for my truck. 84 chevy c10 383stroker. The radiator measurements are.. H- 21" X W-29.5 X W- 2.5. I've been looking and do not know what to get. Thanks

    Yea. TDC was right at 0 on the damper! Don't know if I was lucky or everything is line up right and nothing moved on me. Hope all goes on good and not have n e problems!

    here is the new timing tab Mildolon tab for 6.325 ATI Damper. I called about the clearance and the rep told me that it is suppose to be a really close tolerance. Damper moves freely and does not hit the timing tab. blue tap is when I was finding TDC and marking it.

    Intake manifold install question

    Quick question. Going to drop the motor n a couple of days. Should I install the manifold since its on the engine stand or should I install it after I drop the motor? Jus thinking if it will interfere with the chains from the engine hoist and cause problems. Thanks

    Thanks for all ya'lls help and advise. I should have ask about applying anything to the gasket before I install it. It's still not to late to take off the oil pan and remove all the sealant. I checked it lastnight and tried to take some of the excess off and that stuff is on good. Should I...

    oil pan bolts for Milodon oil pan with fel-pro gasket

    Didn't use Felpro Gasket.. I used the Milodon 1 piece gasket. Have the picture above of the gasket. It's a black gasket with washers built into the bolt holes to prevent over torqueing. Gasket is even on all sides.

    finished up installing the oil pan. Went on with no problem. Here's some pics of the motor. I used a torque wrench to torque the bolts down to 12 ft. lbs. but the torque wrench I have (3/8 drive) I was not able to feel 12ft lbs. So I just got 1/4 drive ratchet and snug the bolts. I...

    its thicker than the old gasket around the timing chain cover. is it meant to be thick for the seal to be tight on the timing cover?
