I'd pull the fuel line to the carb and check the little filter in there to make sure it's not too dirty. Heck you can just put a new one in they're cheap. Then turn the engine over with the line in a bottle or something and see if the pump pumps gas to the carb.
If it is getting gas I'd tap...
Weird thing is I went to turn the lights off and they were off. I looked and it said direct fit. I'll look into it tomorrow. I think when I dropped one and bent the little prong on one side maybe has something to do with it. But it was lit when I took the picture. Idk
Shouldn't he hook vacuum advance to front carb vacuum fitting? That's where Mines hooked up. Manifold vacuum is constant right? Where carb vacuum increases with rpm increase. I might be wrong about this tho. If I am continue and ignore me. Lol
Everything looks good to me.
I don't have any vacume hoses to my water outlet on the intake but, it's not wrong. I just prefer not to have it on my truck.
I swapped a 305 with a 454 and used old brakets with no problems in my 82. Drove it Saturday. Long tubes too. Nothing rubs. Did put bb front springs in too.
