I have a 78 chevy k10 with full time 4x4. There is a 81 with warn manual hubs for parts in my area. I want to know if I can swap the axles on to my truck and what's a reasonable or if its better to buy a hub swap kit.
I found the a kit that runs the exhaust where I want made by Dynomax at JEGS.com.

Its about $120 which is cheaper that any stock replacement or build your own kits I have found. I only chose Flow masters because they don't use fiberglass so...
Thanks for the suggestions. I don't have to run cats due to my trucks age so that saves me some. I'm going to school for welding and can get access to a tig welder to build my own. I also found a lightly used set of flowmasters on craiglist. If I do build my own Ill make a build thread.
I want to replace the exhaust on my 78 K10 stepside and wanted to know what you guys run for mufflers and systems.
I am thinking of going with a Flowmaster super 44 but cant find a system for my truck. I want to run the exhaust out under the steps before the rear tires.
Hi guys I'm new to the forums. I have a 1978 Chevy Scottsdale K10 Step side with a 350/350. This is my first truck that I have had for almost 2 years. The truck is stock and is my daily driver during the summer. I hope learn for those who have had these trucks for years and help were I can.
