1979 High Sierra 5.3 swap
It will pass smog as long as all the smog equipment from the donor truck is on the old truck. If the donor passed smog so should the old truck. I will have to take it to a referee to verify all systems are there and functioning.- 78kona

I have been doing a lot of research and decided to pit 5.3 into my 1979 GMC High Sierra. My dad purchased the GMC new in 1979. It has not been on the road for about 15 years.
