    This happens with a ground wire, for the stereo, directly attached to the battery.

    Yes only when engine is running and no RPM doesn't matter. Turn the engine off and it plays as it should.

    I've rewired, soldered, wired again and resoldered. I'm totally stumped. It works fine with the old 8 track stereo but not with this new one.

    Installing it was the easy part. I couldn't find a dip stick anywhere local, did find a replacement at LMC truck, but to order just the dip stick shipping is a killer.

    Foamy fluid question

    Just got done reading the foamy fluid thread and it got me to thinking. Will the foamy fluid 1. cause the tranny to slip and 2 will the fluid settle back to its normal state? Thanks, Alan

    The burbs probably been reincarnated into something in china by now. Although I can still get the computer if I need to but I have no flippin idea how to hook that up.

    Just make sure you get the lock up to work before using 4th (OD) gear. That's what the kit from Bowtie OD is supposed to do, I hope.

    Actually I have a TH350. That's what I meant when I said adapting the cross member I was planning on making a plate to fit the 700R4 to the existing trans mount.

    Qjet, No I was going to adapt the crossmember that's in it. 4.10 gears and tranny is an 87 out of a suburban with matching tcase.
