Cummins engine swap?

has anyone swaped a cummins into a square body? im in the process of converting my neew 83 dually to a 12 valve cummins i have the motor mounted and trans bolted in just curious on the connection of the trans. has anyone performed this and is there any tips i can get?

Yep, gotta guy here with a 4BT in his, and another guy with I'm assuming a 6BT so there is at least 2. The 6BT guy isn't on much though.

Yep, wildcatjason, that is his link in the post above. He put in a 4BT and made it a Full Tilt nose front end. Their is also a video of it going down the highway.

BTW, the other guy with the 6cyl has a Th400 behind his. Jason has a manual trans behind his. I'm trying to find the 6cyl guys thread, but his was built when he got here, so there isn't much tutorial with it, just Q&A about it.

Yes sir! Saw the cummins swap and thought I'd take myself a peak. I've had it in and out twice in the past six months due to the damn dowel pin that most pre 2003 cummins owners face.

Which tranny? What do you mean connection? Mount? Speedo? Driveshaft? Torque converter/clutch?

So I'm going to start a thread about putting Bugatti Veyron v16 in my suburban without any pics and then .....I'll let it die.
