death shake or death rattle???

what is the death shake or death rattle ive heard yall talk about , and what causes it?? i think the 77 might have it and need more info ??

Death wobble is mostly in kingpin front axles like Dana 60. If your C-10 has it I would be looking at the standard stuff, particularly balljoints, but also look at the tie rod ends wheel bearing, etc.

I had some balljoints going bad and that truck would get a wobble goning and scare the SHIP out of you. Check them out real good.

if your steering stabilizer shock is bad that truck will shake like a SOB.
i had an 84 chevy dump that did that. thought the body was gonna fall off the truck
