******* hater!!!! Lol
Yup :waytogo: they DO NOT look right or good on squares (or earlier for that matter). Dont get me wrong i understand the appeal... drop right on, readily available, steppers are fiberglass but its such a disappointment to see a beautiful truck like that from the front, get all excited and walk around back to find that.... thats a buzz kill for me. Dont misconscrew this either.... im no purist! Ya use what ya got and do what ya gotta do but at least try to make it as it was intended. Btw honk.... nice ta see ya back ;)
Also... if that had a square stepper on it i for sure would have a wet spot in my pants for it!!

Howdy!

The late model bed swap was popular in my area back in the 90's. There used to be a lot of them running around.

Welcome to the board!

Wonder how much of a weight difference there is, if any, between those 90's beds versus the full steel ones of the 70's/80;'s?

Not my preferred bed, but certainly better than the ones where the bed is rusted away up to the rails. Looks good though! Now you've got a good couple years to get it all squared away & teach her how to fix anything and everything about it.

Feel free to throw up a build thread on it for any planned repairs, upgrades, or whatnot. We sure love pictures here.

Boy what good strong taste she has!! I could only wish my 13 year old daughter would do the same! Pat her on the back a few times for me would you? Look out for her next toy! My hopes it will be a Harley Davidson!
