Well if you can manage to work those door panels and trim into your deal, I think I can send some money right away.

Sorry buddy. That deal isn't going to happen. Seats were NOT in it when I got there, he said his wife decided she wanted them. The rear bumper was hit so there was not much value to it, the tailshaft housing was missing to the NP205, the Th350 was a 2wd Th350 with a 4x4 output shaft in it that someone tried to drill and tap the converter cover holes into and failed miserably so that portion of the case was blown out on both sides and no cover or strut rods included. It did have front 10 bolt, rear 12 bolts but ratio unknown and I couldn't spin the drums or rotors and the spid label in the glove box door was in the glove box door he gave to someone else. Brakes were bad and eating at the rotors in the front. Door panels were so brittle they were broke out into bits on the top even they did look good straight on. No wheels to speak of, no rear driveshaft. In short, all I would have been buying was the front driveshaft that I think I have, and the Th350/NP205 output shaft that I can get off ebay for $39 and a **** ton of work to get a trailer and drive out there, **** ton of work to load it, then drive out to my dad's unload it and then take the trailer back to OKC and drop it off. Just wayyyyy to much work for little to gain and out $400 I'm sure he'd have taken for it. He did have a craigslister that offered him $300 for the Th350 and NP205 but was a noshow. If the guy does show up, he'll be sorely disappointed to see the tailshaft missing to the NP205 and the Th350 with a 2wd case and blown out poorly drilled out bolt holes. The 2wd Th350 just doesn't have the meat that the 4x4 Th350 had and that's what I was really wanting was that core. I told him I know he'd had a $300 offer, but he's a now show and when he sees what I see I'm not sure he'd be willing to give $300 either, so not to insult you but I'd offer you $200 for the front Dshaft, NP205 missing the tailshaft and the Th350 output shaft cuz that's all the value there is. He said he'd wait to see if that guy shows and let me know if he doesn't.

I'm sure you guys in the rust belt probably thought it was a good deal, but there's better deals here with alot less work for less money. I'll wait.

So where would I be able to get a price or locate that slip yoke output housing for an NP205 @bucket ??? I'd like to get a price for that and renegotiate with that guy. I really want that front driveshaft. It was a double cardan, and I can use that output shaft out of the Th350 too. I might be willing to give him $250 for the NP205, the crossmember, the front driveshaft, and the 2wd Th350 with the NP205 output shaft. But I have to know I can at least make the NP205 complete in the event I need to use it or sell it. I still feel I want to use the NP205 I have with the fixed rear yoke.

The rear tailshaft shouldn't be hard to find online. Just need to find someone that converted to fixed yoke.

And I'd still be seriously interested in all the stuff that attaches to the door panels, so if it makes it simpler to grab the whole panels, so be it. I've just been looking for all those trim bits for a while, especially those '80-only speaker pods. Just let me know and I'll send some money.

Love the 66. My father in law has a 66 SS that he just left rot away on the farm in Nebraska. I just wanna puke every time I see it.

My dad's first car was a '66. Just a basic 283 hardtop. Back in '96 he finally bought another and holy smokes was it super clean and all original. He sold it a few years ago and it still upsets me, lol.

I had a 66 with a 283 and a powerglide lol. It was a sweet cruiser, but I didn't appreciate cruiser's back in 95. It just pissed me off that it wasn't an SS or anything cool at all lol.

At least it's already cut-out right...lol...

Usually ads like those say they have the patch panels already, they 'just' need installed.
