I think the biggest challeng is the front crossmember modification, then once thats done, your home free.

i already have that taken care of ! i made one and soon as i get some pics of it ill post them up ! TN DIESEL POWER.com has allot of stuff to ! what im worried about in the wiring and the tranny mount and the inter-cooler and what radiator to run ! so im going to get it in there and start pulling that 454 out some time this week or next ! but it should be done with in the next couple months

from what I understand the cooling system is simple, Ive read that alot of people actually complain about the Bigger radiators being too big and end up switching to a 2 core.

Wiring is only as hard as you make it, i will be glad to help you with any of that if your not to savvy at electrical.

Transmission mount will most likely just be a custom made mount, I had to make 1 for my 4L80E swap in my 85.

Ok gonna check your videos out now.

Use your hot to the distributor for the fuel shut off on the ve pump. The Chevy sensors will fit for the water temp and oil pressure. You need a reducer for the water temp. I would recommend getting the bracket from www.autoworldmt.com if you wanna run you Chevy alternator and AC. Are you running hydroboost? I have a 4bt burb if you need help. Looking to sell it though.

Yes mine was a tbi. I made my own crossmember. I used hydraulic motor mounts from a taurus to ease up some of the shake for the tranny. I have a 5spd from a 89 ford backing up mine. You will need to pull out your electric fuel pump and throw it in the trash. Take a 3/8 fuel line and extend it all the way to the bottom of your tank on the fuel in and the return. I used the third for venting. If you don't vent it will cause a vacuum and if you don't extend your lines to the bottom it will suck air. Either way it will shut the engine down. The rest of the electrical I just cut and removed what I could. Pulled the computer as well.

My brother done one a few years ago with a 5.9 cummins in a 88 V3500 crewcab dually. He used everything dodge from motor mounts, to radiator, to NV4500, to accesories, to clutch hydraulics. Had the output changed in the 4500 to fit his 205 transfer case. His is a 24 valve converted to 12 valve mechanical. Took him 4 months, but made one sweet ride.

This is pretty fuzzy but you get the idea. I did this because the 4bt has so much more vibration then the 6er. 2 things I'm going to suggest you may already know. Take all the front clip off to get that engine if not you probably find out you are going to need to give up installing it and take it off anyway. Do the kdp fix while it's out or it will be a ticking time bomb. I didn't and lots of guys don't then they end up with a destroyed timing gear cover or the gears themselves.
