Default K10 Electric fan that can fit in the Shroud
Anyone know of a model electric fan that can fit in place of the water pump fan? I'd like to keep it under $100 new/used.

A pair of fans from a ford windstar are about the perfect size to match up with the radiator on a square.

Here ya go-I used a 93-97 T-Bird dual speed fan inside a stock shroud. I built a HD fan harness for it as well.

X2 this is what I used. May have to upgrade your anternator, any e-fan pulls a lot of amps. But the Aerostar dual fan from mid 90s is the perfect width, just have to rig up mounts.

Thanks, I couldn't remember if that was for the 454 or diesel radiator shroud or not.

Also thanks for the info on the Windstar model. Nice to have more than one option. This is for the LS swap, my engine has a DR44G alternator (145 amps). Should be enough right? No big boomin stereo lol.

That should be plenty. The problem you run into is the temperature switch and relays. Those little "e-fan kits" ain't much. I used a pair of fan relays I had from a toyota, and ordered a switch but it wasn't the right heat range. Once the fans kicked on they wouldn't kick off. I'm wondering if I moved the switch to a head or somewhere other than the thermostat housing if it would work better. I bought one 160-170 range then a 170-180 range but I think I needed 190-200 range or try moving the switch.
