Front Crossmember Degreasing
What I did to my crossmember: Clean. Blast. Primer. Paint(2k). Cavity sealer on the inside. I used a grease based sealer which has to be heated before applying it.- ali_c20

Just want to make shure im reinstalling new control arms correctly.
I have a C20 and my control arms look exactly like the ones in your pictures. The upper control arms are identical except the bushings and ball joints, the lower ones have different stamping for the shaft with the nuts. Try If the ball joints fit into your spindles.- ali_c20

Thanks. I think they will fit with a full size starter but I would be really close. I have a Powermaster gear reduction starter which gives enough clearance all around. The Hookers are universal so they should fit a 85 C10 with a 305. I can post more pictures or measurements if you want.- ali_c20

Just want to make shure im reinstalling new control arms correctly.
This control arms are for 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. The ball joints are different in size for C10 and C20/30 trucks. They don't work on a C10 Truck. Control arm shaft can not be rotated by hand. Insert a big screwdriver and they should move. If they don't move loosen the big nuts and adjust the rods...- ali_c20

Yes I'm running brass nuts on my k5 with stock log manifolds since ~11 years. I had to retighten them after the first heat cycle and never touched them again. The brass nuts come with dorman exhaust manifold stud kits.- ali_c20

Hooker small block manifolds
I have 2 hookers at home and my wife likes 'em too :D. They are well made, nice casting and the machined surfaces are very smooth. I ordered the blank version and painted them with high temp paint (1472°) Not installed yet, I will post an update how it fits my 74 C20 gen1 350.- ali_c20
