Busy week, but got back into it. Finished the pump. Pump clearance was .0011 on slide and rotor. It did have a .500 boost valve, but I replaced it with a Sonnax o-ringed .500 boost valve and reverse boost valve. Also installed Sonnax TCC valve with teflon sealing ring. I had to do something, lol. I didn't want it to look like a Hughes trans anymore, so it got the finest paint on the rattle can shelf.- Wumbo

Knocked this bushing out And replaced it with Sonnax teflon coated bushing Seller claims it's "updated" with a new boost valve. I'll check that out tomorrow.- Wumbo

Bought a rebuilt pump from ebay. Met expectations (they weren't that high). New rings, seals, and bushings. Used rotor, vanes, and (7 vane) slide. Teflon coated bushing is good Pump body and cover had some wear. Would have been ok in a stock build I'm sure, but I took them to the lathe and...- Wumbo

Moving forward. I'll come back to the pump and valve body. Case prep is finished. Installed new seals on the low reverse piston and installed it in the case. 5 pinion rear planet from 4l65e Replaced low reverse wave with 2 steels. Installed the clutch pack and low roller assembly, then...- Wumbo

Anyone know if TCI marks their constant pressure valve bodies in any way? They use the same pressure regulator setup as what I had in this pump.- Wumbo

Resurfaced pump, pressed out stator support, and checked pump clearance. Pump rotor and slide came in at .0018 after machining the pump. Waiting for new Sonnax stator support to show up.- Wumbo
