    ‘79 K10 Owner

Welcome from the Tarheel State. 17 years old with willingness to graduate & enlist, you're quite different than most young people. Owning & rebuilding a Square at that age is definitely different from the norm.

    PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello & welcome. Try pulling up on the shifter while cycling the lock cylinder back. Maybe this will release your key. HS

    New here Tranny swap question.

The 77 is mechanical release where an 88 would be hydro. Use all the pedal assy & z-bar stuff on the 88. Driveshafts will differ & you'll run into a few other small issues...but it's very doable. HS

    Hello from Indiana!

Welcome in Preacher! Jesus is the Gospel and I appreciate your bold statement in telling it! However, you are letting the '72 Malibu suffer it would appear as I see it in the background pic. Shame-shame... I hope that you don't look at my place on Google Earth or you'll be giving me a sermon on...

What lift kit did i just buy

K30 stuff is hard to come by in Central NC. Get out in the western mountains & see them more. I'm parting out an 80 which is also the oldest I've had. All others have been D30 CUCV. I didn't know that about the block on the rear. Thanks for the info. HS

What lift kit did i just buy

4wd hangers drop down farther which lifts the frame & negates the use of a lift block. I figured this out when I was a young pup. I've had many birthdays & many Squares but still haven't done the flip myself tho... HS

What lift kit did i just buy

Isn't the old trick for a flip is to use the front 2wd hanger in place of the rear 4wd & then flipping the swing? HS

    New from TN

Welcome in from NC. I love it down in the Destin/Okaloosa Island area. It's a nice place to visit but is probably much cheaper to live in TN. Nice looking ride you have picked up. HS
