4 Headlight front end Recommendation
Truck – 84 K10
4 headlight grill
My old truck is pretty close to all original. I don’t drive at night often so I am not sure I need wicked bright lights and I know I don’t want a new challenge wiring them up.
My question – Four light. Two are high beams...
1984 K10 Steering Column question.
Tilt steering column. The tilt works fine. However, I recently noticed the wheel will move right to left and up and down if I try to make that happen.
This could have recently started, or I recently noticed now that I am trying to fix all the little things...
I ended up using Chrome paint on the AC vents. I did use the pen on the Custom Deluxe badge.
You can see the screws I have used over the years on the smaller bezel.
I have had this truck for 34 years. I have a list of stuff to do still. Windows, seat, floor etc.
I finally found one place on the web that sells the springs and cross members. I called to verify and was told the manufacture stopped making them.
I buddy told me a place where he lives is using plywood. Then putting the foam over the top.
Anyone else tried this?
This is not my bezel, but you all know what it is.
Some of the black is starting to peal. I am thinking about painting it. Then use some silver paint for the edges.
Any thoughts or recommendations?
I have a 1984 Chevy K10.
99% factory.
Had it 35 years. I am trying to clean up some of the under hood.
The part with the arrow on my truck is tore up and I want to replace it.
I have no clue what it is so how to I look it up?
If you know what it is, please help me out.
Thank you
Dash light question
84 Chevy K10 95% stock.
Looking at my dash, the right side of the fuel gauge is dim. It makes me think there is a bulb out.
Question for anyone who has pulled the dash apart.
Are there light bulbs back there?
Anything special I should know before I dig into this?
UPDATE
I replaced the rocker switch on the dash with Napa part FS500.
Flipped the switch, gauge read full. Put it the other way, gauge read 1/2
I let it run for 15 minutes on both tanks. Never died.
I am going to call this a win.
Ended up replacing the fuel valve from Rock Auto -...
