If you can find the leak yourself there's some radiator puddy I got from Walmart or parts house that works really well. I put it on the 82 and it has held up well. I was gonna buy a new one but tried that first and it's help up ever since. Just another option for you. I'll take a picture of it...
Had to get a new alt belt for the 84. Also bought new plugs for the 82. The old belt was absolutely the smallest one you could get. I barley got it off. So I bought one 2 sizes bigger because the alternator was as far down as you could go and I had plenty of adjustment in it. It was too small...

Bought this led light switch from HF. Added some magnets and stuck it on the roof since I don't have a dome light. It's plenty bright. Not bad for 4 bucks or so.

No I wired it in to the fuse box. It comes with a switch to turn off and on. I put it on the kick panel with velcro in case I need to remove it.

Here ya go pictures of my TRUCK BED at night. They're pretty Brite. You can definitely see to load or unload stuff in the dark. I'd like to see how it looks going down the road. Pretty sure that you could see it from a good distance.

I had hard start issues with the edelbrock 1406 so I swapped it out with a quadrajet and then start up is easy. Straight out the box. Just had to adjust electric choke. This is when I pulled it off the old 305 and put it on the 454 because it had a crappy 1406 on it.
